Knock over bowling pins, bounce off bumpers and stop in the target zones to score points!
I don't know how something so seemingly simple could be so irritating to make. Using physics always seems to give you loads of weird edge cases and Godot's input system doesn't seem to be good enough to get the throwing as precise as I want it.
I've started up a gotosocial instance at social.tracevectrics.com. If you're wondering what gotosocial is, it's basically like mastodon, which is pretty much just like twitter. If you're wondering what the fediverse is, you will find all the answers you need in this thread.
Shoot the balls thougth the hoops. I was trying to make the simplest game I could think of but it ended up being not so simple to make, I'll try harder next time.
This is for smaller, sometimes throwaway games that I feel don't belong on the main game page. I was getting bogged down with increasingly long projects so I want to try somthing different. The first game is ball-hoop which is mostly just a test game to see how well the godot web export works these days and it mostly seems to.
Because I don't trust any social media site to not spontaneously combust I thought I should make my own website.
I used eleventy and plain old html and css. I'm not a web developer but the experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I think web stuff may have improved since I last tried.
I'll be posting the games and videos I make here and possibly blogging. To be honest the main reason I made this post is so the blog section isn't empty.
